RBI Introducing Rs 200 Notes Tomorrow: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is ready to issue the currency notes Rs 200 denomination from tomorrow. This will reduce the burden on Rs 100 currency notes. The Reserve Bank of India will issue Rs 200 currency notes denomination on August 25 that has the signature of Dr. Urjit R. Patel, RBI Governor.
The base colour of the currency note Rs 200 is Bright Yellow. The note has other Geometric designs and patterns aligned with the overall colour scheme. Since there occurred the demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes there comes the shortage of currency notes for the lower denominations. Then RBI introduces the Rs 2000 notes of high denomination. To reduce those shortages, the RBI introduces the Rs 200 currency notes into the circulation from tomorrow.
This will be the easy exchange of notes for the higher denominations of Rs 2000. For one Rs 2000 currency note there can be an exchange of 10 currency notes of Rs.200. The New 200 Rs currency note is of the size 66 mm 146 mm. The currency note has the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi at the centre. Earlier the high denomination of new notes Rs 500 and Rs 2000 were introduced and it is circulated all over the country. The low denomination notes became shortage. For this, the new low denomination currency notes Rs 200 was going to introduce by the Government from tomorrow and it will be circulated throughout India.
